The story told by Kayla about Que' Qu'atsu and the moon have some historical truth. The legends origins come from Innu, Naskapi, and James Bay Cree tribes. More often than not, the legend is referred to as Kuekuatsheu (Carcajou). Kuekuatsheu is the Innu Wolverine, a conniving trickster character who lies, cheats, and is greedy. Unlike Wolverine characters in some Algonquian mythologies, Kuekuatsheu is not malevolent, violent, or dangerous, and Innu stories about him are usually humorous in nature
