(at around 46 mins) The scene after the A.C.U. soldier discovers the implant, when the blood is dripping from the tree, mirrors Dr. Ian Malcom's discussion of chaos from Jurassic Park (1993). Malcolm dripped water on Ellie's hand and asked her to predict which direction it would roll off her hand. He demonstrated it twice and it rolled in two different directions. In this movie, two drops of blood fall and roll off of his arm in two different directions.
