Jim Carrey makes a Clint Eastwood impression in this film. Earlier in his career, Carrey appeared in Eastwood's final Dirty Harry movie, The Dead Pool (1988). Carrey also did Eastwood impressions earlier in his stand up career. Another film in which he does an Eastwood impression is The Mask (1994), where he attacks a group of thieves at a nightclub with fake guns.
