In the Season 1 finale, Martin Crane was told that he wasn't allowed to bring Eddie into the Cafe Nervosa as Eddie is a dog and the cafe did not allow pets. This rule seemed to be retconned [sic] because after this episode, Martin Crane brought Eddie into Cafe Nervosa and nobody seemed to mind, not even the Cafe Nervosa employees.
