Poor film to DVD transfers of some of the episodes, such as Una famiglia americana: The Choice (1975), result in video levels that are too hot (the picture appears overexposed) and/or the video's color temperature is too warm (the picture has a reddish/brownish hue). Some streaming services however, such as Amazon Prime, have corrected these issues and the episodes may be viewed as they were meant to be seen.
