Sacha Baron Cohen performed dual roles in this movie, as Ali G and Borat Sagdiyev, the former as a lead role and central character, and the latter as a cameo. When Borat appears, he actually meets Ali G. A body double was used for the different shots where the back-shot POV of each character was a double and the front-shot POV of each character was Sacha Baron Cohen.
