Megan Mullally joked that the renewal in 2017 was the last order commissioned by former President Barack Obama. Mullally, a huge Obama supporter, once had to perform Karen Walker next to Donald Trump during The 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards (2005). She has referred to this as her "suicide note".
