The Famous Living Doll episode ripped off its death scene from the 1946 Ray Bradbury story "The Small Assassin." In that story a killer baby kills the mother of the family by planting one of its dolls at the top of the stairs. The mother trips on it and falls down the stairs to her death. Almost the same exact same thing happens in this story to Telly Savales (aka wicked stepfather Mark), who trips over Talky Tina down the stairs to his death as well.
