Danny Trejo, the actor who plays Geronimo of the La Onda council, once actually did time in San Quentin. During the final gathering of the council, Miklo stated that he was headed back to Texas via interstate compact - Trejo's cousin (film director Robert Rodriguez) is from San Antonio.
