Everett McGill and Gary Busey both later played villians who die at the hands of Casey Ryback, played by Steven Seagal in Trappola in alto mare (1992) and Trappola sulle Montagne Rocciose (1995). Busey's villain dies in a submarine that blows up in Under Siege, and McGill is killed in a train galley in the sequel.
