About 1hr 33min. into this movie, Monty Woolley comes to see Cary Grant's character (Cole Porter) and Cary Grant's character says, "If we'd known you were coming back, we'd have found a place for you in (Cole Porter's new musical) this one." Monty Woolley says, "Fret no more, my friend, a couple of characters have written me into a bit of a whimsy called, "The Man Who Came To Dinner"! This is funny, because Monty Woolley was the lead character in this exact movie also starring Bette Davis in 1942.
