After Marilyn Monroe (Michelle Williams) storms off the set when Sir Laurence Olivier (Sir Kenneth Branagh) tells her to "be sexy," Olivier angrily quotes Othello in his office ("O, now, for ever / Farewell the tranquil mind! farewell content! / Farewell the plumed troop, and the big wars, / That make ambition virtue! O, farewell!"). Olivier played Othello in Otello (1965) and Branagh played Iago in Othello (1995).
