The character Tommy Strawnn is the intellectual among Martin's peers, despite having a popularly unknown job. In the episode "Power to the People's Court," Tommy is summoned to court for a fender bender. Tommy states he is equipped to defend himself in court because he "spent one year in law school." Martin also mentions in earlier episodes that Tommy finished college, but his profession is unconfirmed.
