The parts of Elaine and Jarrod from Skyline (2010) were not reprised by Scottie Thompson and Eric Balfour, but recast with Samantha Jean and Tony Black. Black previously played a party guest in Skyline. He plays Jarrod in a brief flashback, giving him less than a minute screentime.
