At one point in the movie, Ovi Mahajan (Rudhrakesh Jayswal) is telling Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) about a quote he once read in a book. That quote is "You drown not by falling into the river, but by staying submerged in it", it was said by Brazilian author Paulo Coelho and it makes the connection between the beginning and the ending of the movie.
