The twinkly piano cue, used at the start of the main title theme of this film is an homage by Alan Silvestri to the George Pal movie, H.G. Wells' L'uomo che visse nel futuro (1960). An almost identical twinkly piano or harpsichord motif can be heard at the start of a track called "Fear", used in the original Russell Garcia score from the 1960 classic.
