Will is the only one out of the main four characters never to be seen driving. He did however, wish for driving lessons for his seventeenth birthday (which he never got because his mother thought the age limit for learning to drive was eighteen). Simon passed his driving test in The Inbetweeners: Thorpe Park (2008), Neil passed it sometime prior to The Inbetweeners: Night Out in London (2009), but never bothered to tell anyone, and in The Inbetweeners: The Fashion Show (2010) Jay was seen driving his mum's red Nissan Micra to school, using a provisional license as revealed in The Inbetweeners: Will Is Home Alone (2010)
