The second Star Trek film which the saucer section of the Enterprise crash lands on a planet when the ship is severely damaged in an attack. In Generazioni (1994), the Enterprise-D saucer section crash lands on Verdian III when the ship is destroyed by a Klingon Bird-of-Prey. In this film, the Enterprise saucer section crash lands on Altamid when the ship is attacked and destroyed by Krall and his ships.
