In the show, the premise is that Steven Toast (Matt Berry) goes to Hollywood aka Tinseltown for the role in a Star Wars film. Toast states multiple times through out the show that 'Brits are only offered the roles of butlers or murderers'. In real life, Matt Berry accepted a voiceover role in Star War's The Book of Boba Fett as a robot butler by the name of 8D8.
