Despite somewhat different appearances, the cars that race for Trunk Fresh, Shiny Wax, Bumper Save, Sputter Stop, Spare O Mint, Lil Torquey Pistons, and No Stall at the beginning of the movie are the same cars that raced for them in Cars - Motori ruggenti (2006).
