This was the last movie where Satyen Kapu played father to Amitabh Bachchan's character. He started in 1973 with Prakash Mehra's Zanjeer playing his adopted father, then in 1975 in Yash Chopra's Deewaar, then in 1983 Manmohan Desai's Coolie and in 1985 for Manmohan Desai's Mard playing his adoptive father again and Prayag Raj's Geraftaar. From all of these movies the two actors only shared screen space in Coolie and Mard
