Producer Raju Mavani and director Deepak Anand had a major falling out over the movie. Raju claimed after Yaad Rakhegi Duniya flopped, Deepak begged him to direct the film. Then thru out the making of the film Deepak kept passing rude remarks about all the female junior artistes. Raju went on to say Deepak did not know anything about direction and he regretted signing him for the film. Deepak on the other hand denied all allegations and said that Raju Mavani kept interfering and only had the mentality to make a Ramgardh Ki Sholay.
