Sir Patrick Stewart appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) as U.S.S. Enterprise Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Also, Picard encountered and conversed with his future self in S-2:E-13, "Time Squared", on averting a disaster as well as in the series' time-traveling finale , and later on, traveled back in time to stop the Borg in Primo contatto (1996).
