Principal photography was originally intended to start in April 2019 after filming on 'Jumanji: The Next Level' (2019) with Dwayne Johnson had wrapped. On 8 July 2019 that year, principal photography was delayed to begin in early 2020. It commenced on 3 January 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia and ran for about three months. Then, on 14 March 2020, production on the picture was stopped altogether due to Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. Production on the picture eventually re-commenced on 14 September 2020.
