On the beach where Romeo meets Juliet's maid to arrange his wedding, a stall called "Rosencrantzsy's" can be seen, this is a nod to William Shakespeare's Hamlet, which contains a character called Rosencrantz. Another stall is named "Pound of Flesh", an expression in Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice.
