Christian Bale mentioned in an interview that he felt like he wanted to continue playing Batman. He then jokingly said, "I'm jealous of someone else playing Batman." In reality however, he actually met with Ben Affleck when he was cast, and wished him luck for the making of the film. Bale portrayed Bruce Wayne a.k.a.
