At the end of the film, the only space-suit that was never used is the blue one. In 2010 - L'anno del contatto (1984), the blue suit is missing its helmet, apparently because the producers thought that Dave used it in this film when disabling H.A.L. Dave is actually wearing a green helmet, from the green suit which was stowed inside the emergency airlock.
