Corey Stoll landed the lead part of Ephraim Goodweather while filming House of Cards - Gli intrighi del potere (2013). The character of Peter Russo was subsequently written out of House of Cards - Gli intrighi del potere (2013) to accommodate Stoll's new commitment to The Strain (2014), which made it impossible for him to continue on in the role.
