Rekha was signed for the film but started playing games by not giving dates. She was insisting she got paid more money. The producers approached Bhanupriya to replace her, but that deal did'nt work out. It was Jeetendra who spoke to Sridevi and got her to sign the film. The other heroine Farah also walked out and she was replaced by Poonam Dhillon.
