Robert De Niro and Al Pacino also starred together in The Irishman (2019). Both movies share one similar trait in that the characters that DeNiro and Pacino play are very good friends before DeNiro's character is forced to kill Pacino's character...in this movie, it's in self-defense, while in The Irishman, it's a cold-blooded execution.
