When LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) offers Kreese the services of a lawyer to get him out of prison, Knesse says he wants a "good lawyer, not one of your greasy cousins". That is a nod to "My Cousin Vinny" where Ralph Macchio is being tried for murder and his cousin Vinny (Joe Pesci) comes down to defend him.
