When developing the TV series, Kids WB! wanted Terry's little brother, Matt McGinnis, to be in on Terry's secret identity as Batman. They even wanted Matt to have a secret exit in a closet or dumpster, where a motorcycle would be there so he could be part of the adventure as sort of a Robin-like sidekick to Batman.
