Aqua's iconic single, Barbie Girl, will not be featured in the film due to the history between the band and Mattel toy company. The song was infamously the subject of the lawsuit Mattel v. MCA Records, where Mattel tried to sue the band on the grounds of copyright infringement, which Mattel lost in 2002. Judge Alex Kozinski, in favor of Aqua, ruled that the song was a "parody and a social commentary".
