The concept of Cupid was introduced in season two. In season eight, Phoebe is assigned her own Cupid, as the Elders fear she has lost hope about love. In the series finale, her nephews from the future inform her that the Elders assigned Coop, her personal Cupid, with hopes that she would fall in love with him, and in the final sequence, their wedding is briefly shown.
