This has the highest body count of any Die Hard movie, mainly due to the casualties of Windsor Flight 114. It is also the only one where nearly all the villains are definitively killed off by McClane himself. The only exceptions are one of the ambushers killed by the SWAT team, as well as the member of Major Grant's Blue Light unit who got appendicitis and was replaced, who never appears on screen. The replacement whose throat is cut by Major Grant on the way to rendezvous with Colonel Stuart is definitely not a villain; Grant killed him because he wasn't in on the plan.
