The show aired without commercials in Britain. Some additional scenes and musical numbers (mostly British music hall in nature) not seen in the U.S. until The Disney Channel aired the show from 1992-1997. At the time, The Disney Channel was a premium commercial-free channel. It was taken off in 1997 when The Disney Channel became a basic cable network.
