The only time Trapper wore a red bath robe like Hawkeye's was in season one, episode one, "MASH: Pilot (1972)". After that, he only wore a yellow robe. Hawkeye wore a red robe, and B.J. wore blue, but more than one as they were different shades of blue. (Light and dark) Although his robe appeared red, as Hawkeye is making out his will, he bequeathed to Charles his bathrobe because, "Purple is the color of royalty".
