Even though Bill Murray became Wes Anderson's bodyguard of sorts against an aggressive Gene Hackman, Murray himself had been, for decades, a prima donna on various sets, including both Ghostbusters. After the original, he was so angry that his remake of The Razor's Edge didn't do well that he quit show business for four years. After which, Murray clashed with friend/collaborator Harold Ramis on the set of Ramis's Groundhog Day, to the point that Murray didn't speak to Ramis again until visiting his deathbed.
