As of the end of season seventeen, Olivia Benson and Dominick Carisi, Jr. are the only detectives to have not been shot in the line of duty. However, Benson was stabbed by Victor Paul Gitano in Law & Order: Unità Speciale: Fault (2006) (S07E19) and has been sexually assaulted on two separate occasions.
