(at around 1h 14 mins) Sister Irene, following the Perpetual Adoration sequence, is made officially a nun by Father Burke and wears her full habit and robes. At the end of the movie (at around 1h 29 mins), before the big reveal that Frenchie is possessed by Valak, she is seen wearing an above-the-knees skirt or dress. No nun of the Catholic Church would ever dress that way as it would be considered 'vanity'.
