The scene on the city rooftop that starts out "Chapter 3: Alliance" was originally supposed to be in a warehouse, but the crew could not secure the location they wanted, so they decided to shoot guerilla-style on the roof of downtown Myrtle Beaches Pavillion Parking Garage. Since it was early in the morning, the top floor was completely empty and the cast and crew had free rein to film for as long as they wanted.
