In season 1 episode 7 "Craving" the scene where Jodi's (aka Amy Adams) mouth suddenly becomes monstrously big and she tears into the deer roadkill is a ripoff of a scene in the 1984 miniseries V. In that sci-fi series Captain Mike Donavon ( Mark Singer) hides in a closet on the alien mother ship, and sees Diana, (Jane Badler), the queen alien; suddenly opening her mouth to a shocking and monstrous degree; as she drops a foot long rat down her throat. Another issue with "Craving" is they explain that the Kryptonian chemicals from the meteor infect Jodi's veggie shake and then speeds up her metabolism to the point where she needs to eat everything. But then how does her mouth get so big? And from where does she get that super strength to over power everything like that?
