There are two instances of product placement of Suntory Whiskey in the film: (1) Shortly after arriving alone in the streets of Tokyo, Bond emerges from a doorway into an alley where there is a poster on the wall for Suntory. The poster uses Japanese katakana characters for sa-n-to-ri, and shows a bottle of Suntory Whisky Kakubin White Label. (2) While sitting and drinking with Aki in a Japanese garden as Tanaka arrives, there is a bottle of Suntory on their small table, with half the label visible.
