An animated prequel was shown exclusively through Comcast video on-demand and revealed the origins of the group's mutual animosity towards Star Trek fans. As a prank, the fanboys interfered with their local theater's premiere of Star Trek: First Contact. Sadly, the animation was not included on any home video release.
