"J" is short for Joker, while 8 is for the eighth Batman's apparition after Batman (1966), Batman (1989), Batman - Il ritorno (1992), Batman (1992), Batman Forever (1995), Batman & Robin (1997), Batman Begins (2005) and Il cavaliere oscuro (2008), where Joker was played by Joaquin Phoenix' close friend Heath Ledger.
