During an interview with CinemaBlend to promote Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Tom Holland confirmed that Tom Hardy was on the same set used to shoot No Way Home, but he was actually there to shoot the Venom: Let There Be Carnage post-credits scene. "I was on set, Amy Pascal came over to me and had a conversation about it," Tom Holland said. "I was very excited. Tom Hardy came to set only a few days later to film his side of the Venom tag."
