In 1983, Veleka Gray portrayed two different characters simultaneously: Patti's psychiatrist Dr. Sharon Reaves, and hotel manicurist Ruby. Unusually, the characters were neither look-a-likes nor related, they were involved in different storylines, and shared no scenes together.
