Towards the beginning of the movie, Nebula (Karen Gillan) says that if they set her free she won't kill Gamora (Zoe Saldana), to which Peter (Chris Pratt) replies: "You would think that an evil supervillain would learn how to properly lie." This hints at what Thanos would later confirm in Avengers: Infinity War (2018), which is that he never taught his daughters how to lie.
