Film was taken down from Kohinoor theater In Mumbai Dadar area on its very first day by Shiv Sena Supremo Balassaheb Thackeray.As the management refused to screen Marathi film Songadya 1970 which was doing well out there since three weeks and the owner preferred a big Hindi film over it.
