La casa nella prateria: Doctor's Lady (1975) and La casa nella prateria: Love (1982) are virtually identical in plot, as both deal with an older man (Doc Baker and Mr. Edwards respectively) falling in love with much younger women and deciding to sacrifice the relationships, due to the age difference.
